Fielding of common candidates by all political parties against congress comes to end

Imphal, October 31: Formation of common candidates by all political parties against congress has ended as on Thursday TMC has also announced that they will field their own candidates in the two MPs seat in the forth coming Lok Shaba election.

TMC president and former MP, Kim Gangte inform that she herself will contest in the upcoming Lok Shaba election 2014 from outer Manipur Lok Shaba seat and will also field their party candidates for the inner seat too.

The higher authorities of TMC has shortlisted her for the outer Manipur seat but for the inner seat the centre committee has yet to finalize has 4/5 candidates has come up said the Kim Gangte.

Strongly coming on the congress the TMC chief said that Bharat Nigam is not own by them so they should stop using Food Security Bill and Land Acquisition Rights Act in their campaign for the upcoming Lok Shaba election.

Food Security Bill and Land Acquisition Rights Act is made by the Government of India for the public, congress should not cheat the public, we can’t allow congress to use Food Security Bill as their manifestos in their campaign added Kim Gangte.

Quoting G.K. Pillai last year statement which said “Manipur look at the centre as milk cow but the centre look and want violence in the state but a controllable one” this clearly in decades that centre government is not serious about Manipur and we don’t want the way centre government look at us, former MP added.
Whenever there is an issue or a problem in Jammu & Kashmir the centre government will react immediately and will carried the story in all the national and international dailies paper but in the case of Manipur the centre never looks back.

Coming on another topic the former MP asked why the government failed till today in arresting the drugs owners whose agent is already in the jail, the govt. has to clarify the reason to the public of Manipur.
And further lambasted on the present Public Distribution System (PDS) the TMC chief said that PDS has totally failed in the hills not a single poor person get a rice or eatable oil of PDS even in her village in this situation from where the money will come to provide rice at the price of Rs 3 and atta at Rs 2 under food security bill.
