State BJP launches Signature campaign against coal-scandal

Imphal, Sept 3: Bharatya Janata Party (BJP) Manipur Pradesh, Mahila Morcha launched signature campaign against the Coalgate scandal in India under the banner “Why are you still silent-Prime Minister” at its office campus on Monday.
The signature campaign was launched by the BJP president, Sh Shantikumar Sharma, in the presents of BJP, national vice president, Mahila Morcha A. Sharda Devi.
Speaking to media BJP President Sh. Santikumar said in demanding the resignation of Prime Minister of India, in all over the Country the BJP has launched signature campaign against the Prime Minister on Coalgate scandal since 1st of September, and will continue till 7th of this month but the BJP Manipur Pradesh started today.
The genuine demands to control essential commodities prize hike are still yet not solve by the centre government, and further said the 33 percent women reservation promise by UPA is also not amend till now, and the Common Wealth Game issue and 2-G spectrum scam are still yet to be solved by the UPA government.
Later after a simple function of launching signature campaign against the Coalgate scandal, in demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Mahila Morcha started taking signature as part of its campaign in Imphal areas.
While speaking to media, Mahila Morcha, BJP president K. Mema said the campaign will cover all the district of Manipur during protest campaign.
On its first day of the signature campaign hundreds of public took part by giving there signature.
