Rally took out in support of Mary Kom and Devendro
Imphal, Aug 07: In support of MC Mary Kom and L Devendro Singh who had qualified for semi-final and quarter final in the ongoing Olympic 2012, the Heingang Kendra Sporting Union (HKSU) took out a rally in Imphal on Tuesday.
The supporting Union took out a rally for about 5km from Khabam Lamkhai to IGAR (S) where they shouted slogan long live Mary Kom and Devendro.
A placard “MC Mary Kom, waiting for you with Gold medal, wish you all the best” , “L Devendro, Bring home laurel with Gold medal for the country, wish you all the best” etc. were to be seen during the passion.
Editor of the local daily (Manipuri) news paper Naharolge Thoudang, Kh Loyalakpa who organizes the rally said in the sideline that to encourage the two Manipuri who are doing well in the ongoing Olympic they took out the rally.
Being a sport lover himself (Loyalakpa) to show how much he appreciate he organize the rally in support of them and to encourage them.
