Reshuffle in judiciary
IMPHAL, July 18: A Guneshwar Sharma, Member Secretary, Manipur State Legal Service Authority and Judge Special Court (Electricity) Manipur East and Manipur West has been transferred and posted as District and Session Judge, Manipur East with immediate Effect according to an official notification dated July 16, said an official source.
In addition, he shall look after the Court and office of the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Manipur East. Further, he shall also continue to look after the office of the Member Secretary, MASLSA and, Court and office of Special Judge, Special Court (Electricity), Manipur East and Manipur West until further order, the source informed.
Roland Keishing, Judge, Special Court (ND&PS), Manipur has been transferred and posted as Presiding Officer, Revenue Tribunal and MACT, Manipur and has been ordered to proceed to join his new assignment immediately, the source said.
The source further informed that M Manojkumar Singh, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Manipur East (i/c) District and Sessions Judge, Manipur East has been transferred and posted as Special Judge (ND & PS), Manipur vice Roland Keishing, transferred and has been ordered to proceed to join his new assignment immediately.
K Brajakumar Sharma, Presiding Officer, Revenue Tribunal and MACT, Manipur has been transferred and posted as District and Sessions Judge, Manipur West, it said.
S Imocha Singh, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Manipur West (i/c) District and Sessions Judge, Manipur West has been transferred and posted as District and Sessions Judge, Thoubal, created and established vide order dated 12/07/2013, No 2/62/2012-Leg/L-B and Notification No 2/62/2012-Leg/L-A, dated 12/07/2013 of the Government of Manipur, Secretariat: Law and Legislative Affair Department, it said.
S Imocha Singh, on being relieved, shall move with all the staffs/establishment of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Manipur West to the Court of District and Sessions Judge, Thoubal and start functioning there with effect from 19/07/2013, it added.
In addition, he shall look after the Court and office of the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Manipur East. Further, he shall also continue to look after the office of the Member Secretary, MASLSA and, Court and office of Special Judge, Special Court (Electricity), Manipur East and Manipur West until further order, the source informed.
