JMDC Kpi-Tamei Area appeal
KANGPOKPI, Oct.6: The Joint Monitoring Development Committee (Kangpokpi – Tamei Area) in its press statement duly signed by its Chairman Mangsat and Secretary Michuleng earnestly appeals to the government of Manipur and the department concerned to immediately start the construction work of Kangpokpi to Tamei stretch of road which have been already sanction by the NEC.
The statement further said that the Kangpokpi-Tamei road has been left incommunicable due to the recent deluge. All signed of black topping on the road have been washed away and the same is filled with mud and pot holes. Vehicular movement of any form is no longer possible and the people of the area are deprived of essential commodities such as food items and medicines etc exposing them to natural threats to life and well being.
Therefore, the Joint Monitoring Development Committee urges the government to do the needful at the earliest on humanitarian ground for the sake of the ever neglected people of the area said the statement.
