Biren Singh, renowned filmmaker Aribam Shyam Sharma, Ratan Thiyam Chairperson National school of Drama, Prof. Th. Tombi Singh, Commissioner Art & Culture  R.K. Nimai Singh and other top officials of Vety & AH Dept etc.

Inspecting the site Shri Ibobi Singh said that the required land acquisition of the sanctuary will be done at first and then an eco-friendly fencing in the form of a ring-Bund will be constructed.

For this he also gave his advice and suggestion to Shri Govindas to prepare and submit the DPR for the project at the earliest to the Union Agriculture Ministry. He said that a race course and a training polo ground are also to be developed in the site. Later, when meeting with some land pattadars of the proposed site, CM assured that the government will give compensations accordingly and will not acquire their land by force. He appealed for cooperation from the public in this project to preserve and promote the endangered Manipuri Pony the population of which is less than 1000 at present.
