Let prevail peace then tourism can develop in Manipur-CM

Imphal, Sep 27: In a aim to develop State Tourism, the state government first priority is to bring development of sustainable power supply, transportation system and drinking water said Chief Minister O. Ibobi Singh on Thursday.
Chief Minister was speaking as a chief guest, in the observation of World Tourism Day at Imphal Hotel conference hall under the theme "Tourism & Sustainable Energy: Powering Sustainable Development".

Chief Minister further mentioned that, in a democratic state, there is always place for negotiation for every person, and so, the state government door is opened for negotiation for all and urge the public to work together in bring peace in the state.
Referring to the tourism, as one of the means to improve the livelihood of the people of the state, the chief minister stressed on the need to develop tourist spot in the state located in various place like Loktak Lake, Leimaram water fall, Loukoipat, Siroy Lily the flower of the state in Djuko valley etc.
And also said that the department is also making continues efforts to make "Tourism" a vibrant sector with aims to greater employment generation and to showcase the state as a prime tourist destination, he added.
Minister RD& PR Francis Ngajokpa who attended as Guest of honors of the function also said goods, like computer, blackberry, shoe, etc are search by the consumer, without thinking any cost of the good, likewise we needed to developed the state tourism.
But the state tourism can only developed throught only peace, not by state chief minister, or else. The state needs to unite, let peace prevail then state tourism only can develop and so tourism is a big traffic point. State government alone cannot ensure development of Tourism without the support and co-operation of every individual society added Francis.
Resource persons who attended as guest of honours also lamented the needs of tourist guide training centre and various views of the state for more development in Tourism sector.
