BSF head constable sustained injured in IED attack

Imphal, Sep 14: After several attack on Indian army by the state militants outfit, another suspected IED bomb blast took place where a head constable of 116th Battalion BSF injure who were on foot patrolling in Thoubal district, Manipur said a police source on Friday.
Source said that the IED blast took place at Heirok Part II, Thoubal district near Tomal Makhong injuring one head constable namely Rothak Kumar 45 who was discharge after getting a first aids in Thoubal district hospital.
The IED took place around 2:40 pm of this evening said the police source.
In the meantime, this morning a highly explosive TNT bomb was found at the 25th battalion of the BRTF commander office complex located at Lamphel, under Lamphel Police Station Imphal west.
Source said the TNT bomb was found this early morning by the sweepers,
While receiving the report of the bomb threat, a team of state police along with the state bomb squad remove the bomb safely and defuse it in an isolated place.
