KSO demand for the intervention of Govt. regarding TET form

Imphal, Sep 14: Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO) demanded for immediate intervention to alleviate the difficulties and hardship faced by intending candidates in the distribution of Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) form, and appeal for opening both form distribution centres and examination centres in all the district headquarters of the state, and to defer the date of TET exam. Said statement released by the vice president of the KSO, Mangcha Baite on Friday.
The present distribution of the TET forms from a single centre in Imphal has rendered unnecessary problem to all the people who came to get the TET form.
In order to procedure the form at Rs.300, one has to stand in a serpentine queue in the sun or in the rain for hours. The problems are more intimidating to the people who came from far flung or remote areas in the hill districts. These people have to endure all sort of hardships such as transport bottlenecks, financial problems and the trouble of spending 2-3 days in Imphal to procure the form added note.
Statement further said, the KSO general headquarter urge the education minister to favour and look into these demands; to make available TET forms in all the district headquarters in the state, to open TET examination centers in all district headquarters in the state, to extend the last date of form submission and to defer the date of examination as it collide with the date of SSC examination.
