TSA condemns Yaiskul blast
IMPHAL, November 1: While strongly condemning the bomb blast incident at Yaiskul Moreh Parking on October 30 which claimed the lives of three innocent peoples, the Thadou Student’s Association (TSA) has said that such act of terrorist activities carried out by an underground organization is very unfortunate and termed the incident as an act of ‘cowardice’, ‘uncivilized’ and ‘barbaric’.
In a statement, the students’ association appealed to those underground organizations responsible for triggering the blast not to repeat such violent activities in the public places as it may cause more human casualties.
Alleging that the lack of security from the government side is mainly responsible for this unwanted incident, the statement said the large number of police personnel deployed around the Imphal city is just a namesake which could not maintain peace and security for the people.
Further, it demanded to pay ex-gratia to the next of kin of the deceased families and added that the association would share sorrows of the bereaved families.
