Man lynched by mob
Imphal, Nov 6: A man was lynched by a mob of Moidnagpok under Patsoi police station, Imphal west district after he was found guilty of killing a woman while he try to rape her on Tuesday dawn said a police source.
A man in his mids 30 identified as one N Samananda son of Inaobi of New Keithelmanbi was beaten to death by the public of Moidangpok.
The incident of killing and try to rape was happen yesterday at about 6:30pm, added the local woman who was among the protesters in the form of sit in protest in the locality of the killed women.
During the sit in protest the killing of the woman was stronglly condemned by the womanfolks and further stated that the accuse was killed by the mob after introgation.
Interestingly the man is said to be a cousin brother of the victim.
