Grand Finale of Youth Talented of Saikul Area concluded
Imphal, Nov 10(UNA): Saikul Gamkai Zalaithang 2012 a talent hunt of the youths of Saikul block areas under the theme “Hung Thouvun Sempi le Semjang Saigin Thon” (Arise! Harps and Lyres) the grand finale was held today at public ground of Saikul in Senapati district.
Like their counterparts, youths in Saikul area have skills and talents. However, there is No platform for them to show their skills. Their talents need to be improved and developed. Hence, Saikul Gamkai Zalaithang to serve as platform to let the skills and talent of the youths bloom everywhere.
Though it is the 3rd time but this time the organizing is focusing on two skills which includes “Singing Skills: on Spirituality, where 85 unmarried youths (Age group 15-27) appeared for the competition”. And for the “Dancing Skills-Choreography: Dance with Spirituality a team of 22 groups between 4-27 years participate the dancing Skills”, each team consisted of 4 to 8 members said the organizing advisor, Paomin.
The motto of the programme is “One Faith: One Hope”.
The advisor of the organizing committee Paomin said that the goal of this programme is “culturally Rooted, Responsible, Productive and Competent youth across Saikul Assembly Constituency”.
And on above that the Mission of Churches is a Non-Denominational partnership of Christian youth whose mission is to promote the well-being of Children and Youths in Saikul area.
Paomin the advisor of the organizing committee further stated that, today winner will be given a contract of one Kuki song album along with a cash award and certificate.
And the winner of today will be send in a “Kuki Idol” of the North Eastern.
