Two security jawan injured in an attack

Imphal, Oct 6 (UNA): Two jawan of 6/8 Gorkha Regiment got a bullet injury causing one jawan seriously in the attack by a suspected armed militant when they were in a foot patrolling at around 9:30 am on Saturday.

The attack took place at Penjang village areas near Leimatak in Bishnupur district under Bishnupur police station said a police source.

The two jawan who got injury were identified as Manoj Subha (25) yrs was injured in hand and leg and whereas Anil Adhikari (21) yrs injured in stomach areas and also reported that his condition is in critical.
Mention may be made here that on last October 4 a team of Chabdel SP was attacked by arms militants where seven police personnel got injure on National Highway 102 Imphal-Moreh.

Till the filing of this news report it cannot be known who carried out the attack as well no UGs group has also not claim so far.
