MSL: USA stun defending champion NISA

Imphal, September 28 United Sporting Association stunned North Imphal Sporting Association by 2-0 goals to collect full points in the 7th Manipur State League 2012 at Khuman Lampak main stadium on Thursday.

The win propelled United Sporting Association to 10 points, while North Imphal Sporting Association has six points. United Sporting Association sprang a surprise in the 30th minute with L. Milan Singh finding the nets to post a one-goal lead in the first half.

Defending champions North Imphal Sporting Association failed to rise to the occasion. United Sporting Association came up with the winning goal in the 90th minute from A. Binesh for the victory.

In the other match, Kuki Sporting Club had a goalless draw against Jsongtun Youth Club to share a point each.
