Irawat Remembrance Month launched
Imphal, 1 Sept(Universal News Agency): A month long celebration of Jananeta Hijam Irawat launched on Saturday at the office of Irawat Foundation, Pishum.
The month long remembrance was launch by Th. Iboyaima, president of the foundation, along with Kh. Nishikanta, vice president of the foundation and Kh. Sengoi Luwang, general secretary of the foundation.
During the celebration all the branch managers of the foundation are also attended and discuss the vision of Irawat.
Th. Iboyaima, clarified about the controversy on Irawat educational back ground at Progress School, Dhaka.
Further, Iboyaima produced the schooling certificate of Irawat which was a big controversy among the people of the state. According to the certificate, Jananeta was admitted in class VI at Johnston school in the year 1913 and further admitted in class VII at Progress School, Dhaka in 1914.
At this crucial juncture, we need to foster the vision of Irawat regarding education, discrimination of cast & creed, boundary dispute instead of all this we should render help to the poorest of the poor
he added.
