HC approves June 23 list
IMPHAL, Aug 2: The Principal seat of the Gauhati High Court has quashed the interim order of the Imphal Bench with regard to the MBBS/BDS results.
It may be recalled here that Justice Tayenjam Nandakumar of Gauhati High Court has quashed the revised select lists of Manipur MBBS/BDS Entrance Examination, 2012 on July 20.
The single bench order was issued following a writ petition filed by six candidates to the Gauhati High Court, Imphal Bench.
Subsequently, the state government represented by Health and fFamily Welfare Commissioner K Moses Chalai and Health Services Director Sh Surchandra Sharma filed an appeal to the Division Bench challenging the quash order.
A few candidates also filed an appeal before the principal seat.
After hearing the appeal for 2 days at Gauhati , a principal bench comprising of Chief Justice AK Goel and Justice N Koteshwar orderied the state government to act on the revised select list of June 23, 2012.
