" Eikhoina Nakhoigi Maipakpa Ngairi" Campaign launched

IMPHAL, July 17:  ' Eikhoina Nakhoigi Maipakpa Ngairi' ( We are seeking for your Triumphant) Campaign  was kicked off  to encourage the Olympic bound state players today at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal.

The campaign initiated by the Celebrity Media Group Manipur  and its partner Presto Wonders  Imphal was launched in a function which was embellished with the presence of  prominent sports personalities of the state, officials of YAS,  the Media Group and Presto Wonders and sports lovers of the state.

As a part of the campaign , hoarding displaying the photographs of the five players who are representing India in the London Games was installed at the complex of  Manipur Mountaineering an Tracking Association, Minuthong Imphal.  The inspired quote " Come home Triumphant let the Gold glitter on your shoulder for the Glory of Manipur "  is inscribed on the hoarding.

The spokesman of the media group and Presto Wonders said, "The campaign  is not only to encourage the Olympic bound players for their success but also to enliven the spirit of the youngsters to become Olympian medalist."

Celebrity Media Group was formed in 2011 by a group of sports journalists and sports promoters of the state with the vision of encouraging more sportspersons in the state with their celebrities.

The group has felicitated several outstanding players from the state and offered assistance.

Th Dayananda Singh, the owner of Presto Wonders Imphal branch and one of  leading member of the media group appealed the general public and peoples who encourage the sports movements in the state to join the campaign for honing the spirit of Olympic medal hungry by our   players- L Bombayla (Archery), MC Mary Kom (Boxing), L Devendro (Boxing), Ng Soniya Chanu (Weightlifting) and Kothajit Singh (Hockey) .

Hoardings and banners featuring the players’ photos will be furthered to install at various locations of the Khuman Lampak sports complex with the hope that it will further encourage the state players who come to the sports complex every-day.
