JNURM bus service to widen from today

IMPHAL, June 13: JNURM buses will make its services available to the public on the three designated routes starting from tomorrow onwards.

Dr Kh Ratankumar Singh, Minister (Tpt & Works) cum chairman of UMTA has declared that no fare shall be charged in all the following three designated routes on the day of flag off ceremony for the first trip only, said a release of the Directorate of Transport.

Further, there shall be one minute stoppage en-route the entire corridors.

Cluster Route 1: Origin (Manipur University Gate); Destination (Koirengei BSF).

Bus Stops: Temple of Learning/Naoram Leikai, Narashinga Temple, Kakwa PS, Mayeng Leikai, Waikom Leikai, Singjamei Girls, Singjamei Bus Stop, Yumnam Leikai Lairembi, Moirangkhom Bazar, Telephone Bhawan, Nupi Lal Complex, M/Sector, Old Assembly Road, Christian Literature Centre, PWD/Bus Stand, DM College Southern Gate (Near PCTC), North AOC Sulabh, DM College Eastern Gate, Eastern Motors Office (Chingmeirong), Chingmeirong OP, Gauhati High Court, STPI, Mantripukhri Post Office, Khabam Lamkhai , Liberal College, Manipur Public School, Koirengei BSF and Back.

Cluster Route 2: Origin (Malom); Destination (Lamlong).

Bus Stops: Malom Bazaar, Airport, Herbert School Entry, Imphal College, Kwakeithel Bazar, Takhel Leikai, Keisampat Parking, Electricity Office, M/Sector, Old Assembly Road, Christian Literature Centre, PWD/Bus Stand, DM College Southern Gate (Near PCTC), MMTA, Hatta Crossing, NRL Pump, Lai Awangba,

Lamlong Bazaar, Lai Khulambi, Salanthong Entry, Chairenthong and Back.

Cluster Route 3: Origin (DC Imphal West); Destination (DC Imphal East).

Bus Stops: DC Imphal West (Lamphel), Naoremthong, NG College Entry, Uripok Canteen Leirak Entry, JAS Oil Pump, Gambhir Singh Complex, Kangla Bus Stop, Nityapat Bus Stand, Kangla Southern Gate, Sanjenthong Officer Colony Entry, Palace Gate, Checkon Bazaar, Ananda Singh School, Porompat Junction, DC Imphal East and Back.
