Guv greets on Guru Nanak day
IMPHAL, Nov 16: “It gives me great pleasure to greet the people of Manipur and Nagaland, especially our Sikh brethren, on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji”, Dr Ashwani Kumar, the governor of Manipur and Nagaland conveyed in a message.
The message further conveyed that the teachings of Guru Nanak base on love, compassion and mercy have more relevant in this present day world when the environment is marred by conflict and social tensions, adding that all of us need to follow the teachings and path shown by the great Guru.
“I join the people of Manipur and Nagaland in celebrating the birth day of Guru Nanak and pray for peace and prosperity of the all mankind” the message of the Governor concluded.
