AMUCO observes Khongjom Day

IMPHAL, April 23: A press release from All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO) said that people of the state and district organizations and of various communities led by KT Raham, President of AMUCO set off from AMUCO office for Kheba Ching at 9 a.m.where patriots sacrificed their lives for the motherland at the last war of Manipur in 1891 to preserve and defend the sovereignty of Manipur.

It continued that 'tarpan' was offered to the brave souls as a mark of respect while pointing out that the new generations would remember the supreme sacrifice made by the patriots while thanking the public including the people of the hill and valley for participating in the Khongjom Day and making it a grand success.
