Thomas and Manikhombi beg the 2nd Transformation Challenge titles
IMPHAL, October 29: Laishram Thomas Singh of Singjamei Makha Kakwa Asem Leikai and Kangabam Manikhombi Devi of Keishampat Kangabam Leikai were claimed the first position of the men’s and women’s events of the 2nd Transformation Challenge, 2012 today.
The contest organized by the Apunba Fitness Centre, Nagamapal RIMS road was held at the BOAT yesterday.
Laishram Thomas Singh received 90 points after losing 20 kgs in three months. He was at 88 kg before the start of challenge three months back but is now at 66 kgs after losing 20 kgs.
Yulembam Neelakamal (second) and Yurembam Andrew (third) rounded off the first three challengers in the men’s event.
Kangabam Manikhombi Devi lost 14-9 kgs in the three months to weigh 55.4 kg at the end of the challenge. She was at 70.3 kg three months back.
Thokchom (o) Rosy (second) and Thounaojam (o) Ibetombi Devi (third) rounded off the first three women’s challengers.
