No bandh appeal on Kut

IMPHAL, Oct 29: Besides wishing to the KUT celebrating tribes of the state, the State Level Kut committee (SLKC), 2012 appeals to all the organisation of the state not to call any kinds of bandh and blockage on the day of Kut, which falls on November 1, as said by a press release signed by the chairman of SLCK, Manipur.

It further appeals to the people of the state to extended winning support for the successful celebration of the festival.

The chairman of the committee further added that, the Kut celebration to be held at 1st Manipur Rifles Ground, Imphal would be graced by the state Governor and Chief Minister of the state.

It further maintained that the main features of the programmes would be culture-based and Miss Kut pageant as afternoon and evening session and special musical session from renowned guest artists.
