Lion Club Leimarol Observed UN Day

IMPHAL, Oct 24: As a part of its annual observation, the Lion Club of Leimarol Imphal, observed UN Day at Shantilata Memorial School, Poana Bazar Imphla, as said by a press release.

The released further added that the observation that was nearly attended by 70 students of the school, and resource person’s, during the observation, spoke on various topics and interacted with the student.

MALA congratulates Veenapani Chanu for her PhD

The Manipur Library Association (MALA), Imphal congratulates its life line member Dr. Salam Chanu Veenapani on conferring her PhD degree in Library and Informative Science by Manipur University, through a press released today.

Veenapani chanu is presently working as a Library assistant at the Institute of Bioresources and sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal and her PhD topic was entitled as ‘’Growth and Development of Libraries in Manipur: A critical Study”. She worked under the supervision of Dr. Th Khomdom Singh of Manipur University.
