"Integration can’t be a point of discussion between Indo-Naga peace talk"
Imphal, Oct 18(UNA): Being a political dominated Country, Manipur is suffering till today said a veteran politician O. Joy Singh on Thursday.
Senior opposition leader and ex-MLA O. Joy Singh was talking with a few media persons in the sideline of commemoration function of “the 1st Sitting of the Manipur State Assembly, 1948” at Manipur People’s Party (MPP) office.
In India there are three points/agenda the public needs to know is that there is a political domination in India, Economy domination over North East region and communities’ domination said O. Joy.
Citing an example over the communities’ domination in India the veteran politician said that if PA Sangma was from big communities from the mainland India he will be surely elected as the president of India.
On enquire by the press the veteran said that, integration can’t be the point of discussion in the ongoing peace talk between Indo-Naga, because the Prime Minister of India, Home Minister etc had already said that none of the state of India integration can be affected in any process of talks.
If the NSCN-IM is ready to abide with the constitution of India then it ok for what ever they wants added the veteran politician.
The Indian constitution has an rule for maximum numbers of Member of Parliament (MP) but it doesn’t have for minimum, this clearly show that, India is a political dominated country added O Joy.
