Explosives recovered in Baksa, two persons arrested

Guwahati Sep 17: Two hand grenades and several detonators were recovered from a person at Tamulpur in Baksa district, Assam on Monday.

On a tip-off, the police and SSB launched a joint operation at Kotabari village, under Tamulpur police station, and recovered the explosives hidden under a haystack in the house of Rakesh Boro, police sources said.
During interrogation, Rakesh told the police that one Sanatan Sarania had asked him to keep the explosives in his house.

Both Rakesh Boro and Sanatan Sarania were arrested by the police.
The two persons were detain under judicial custody of Police and investigation was going on how explosive device reach to them added the police source.
