Manipur Fashion Extravaganza on January 11
IMPHAL, November 30: After the successful completion of Manipur Festival Extravaganza 2013 will organize the second edition of Manipur Fashion Extravaganza on January 11, 2013 at 1st Manipur Rifles Ground, said Robert Naorem during a press conference at Manipur Press Club today.
The event is expected to be the biggest fashion event of the entire North East, he said and added that the main objective of organizing such event is to focus on the endeavor to promote the existing sense of glamour and beauty of the state since antiquity.
He continued that the international delegates, professionals and celebrities will be part of the show and former Miss World Parvathy will be walking down the ramp wearing Manipuri traditional costume as a show stopper for him, and continued that the Manipuri fashion and its eco friendly fabrics (silk-etc) has become a preferred clothing asset in the international market.
