National Conference of State Tourism Ministers to be held Tomorrow
New Delhi, July 17: A day long National conference of State Tourism Ministers will be held here tomorrow. The conference will be inaugurated by the Union Tourism Minister K. Chiranjeevi.
The conference will deliberate on issues related to safety and security of the tourists, campaign clean India, Rationalisation of taxes, completion of infrastructure projects and submission of utilisation certificates and completion certificates and timely issue of licences to the hotels.
The conference will also discuss issues related to Hunar se Rozgar tak programme, sharing of data and statistics, making tourist destinations accessible for differently able tourists, sustainable tourism and carrying capacity of destination, constitution of regional promotional councils and single window clearances for film shootings and MICE activities.
