Dr. S.V. Ngachan awarded
IMPHAL, July 18: President of India, Pranab Mukherji has conferred the Sardar Patel Outstanding ICAR Institution Award, 2013 to Dr. S.V. Ngachan, Director of ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region at New Delhi on July 16, 2013, the 85th Foundation day of ICAR, informed a press release of ICAR, Manipur Centre.
The Sardar Patel Outstanding ICAR Institution Award 2013, a national award is given in recognition of outstanding performance by the ICAR institutes and Agricultural Universities in the country. The award was given for the significant contribution of the ICAR complex for Agriculture research and extension activities North Hill Eastern Region. It is for the first time that the ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region received the award, it added.
