Science meet begins

IMPHAL, May 11: Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC), Imphal is organising

Science meet 2013, a five day event that is slated to go on till May 15 was inaugurated at the Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound here.

Speaking at the inaugural function of the science meet organized by the Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC), Imphal; Dr IS Khaidem, Former Vice Chancellor Manipur University and Former Chairman of the Manipur Public Service Commission said every student should make an effort to know science fundamentals.

The theme this year is 'genetically modified crops and food security'.
