New student organization formed

IMPHAL, May 23: A New student organization called Apunba Ireibakki Maheiroi Shinpanglup (AIMS) has been formed with 11 officer bearers as per an announcement made by the General Secretary of the new body in a press conference held at the Manipur Press club on Wednesday.

Speaking to the media persons L Silash general secretary AIMS said that 11 student representatives from various colleges have been unanimously chosen under the Motto of obedience, conscience and self confidence and for preserving the rich culture of respect to the teachers by the students of the state and for the development in the state.

President of the AIMS Soubam Monalisha said that the student organization was being formed for the people of the state regarding the present race for development and also for preserving culture, identity, respect towards teachers from the students and for the betterment of the society.

They will work hand in hand with other student bodies and students of various colleges and the University for bringing change on development in the state, she said
