"Inner Line permit System form will launch in all district from November 19 "
IMPHAL, Nov 10 (UNA): The joint committee on Inner Line permit (ILP) will distribute ILP form to the non-locals if the Government fail to implement ILP in the state on or before the 18 of November, said the spokesperson of ILP Joychan on Saturday.
Decrying, against the failure of state government and the centre in implementing the Inner Line Permit System in Manipur till today, we are compelled to take a decision to issue forms to non-Manipuri added the spokesperson.
This was stated by the spokesperson of the committee while briefing to state media persons at Federation of Regional Indigenous Society (FRIENDS) office at Wahengbam leikai road near State Rural Bank here in Imphal.
Speaking to media person the spokesperson said that the Committee have selected four sub Committee to look after, the movement of non local personnel in the state Publicity Sub Committee, Finance Sub Committee, Mobilization Sub Committee and Form Distribution Sub Committee.
If the state government fails to implement ILP in state then, from November 18 the committee will started distributing forms to non local peoples. And further mentioned that the non local who have identification or proved who have been stayed since before 1947 will not include drive.
He further said that the committee had also charted out four categories forms for the non local/foreigners who visit in Manipur. The categories are; 20 days, 4 months, 6 months and a years. And all these fee of staying in Manipur will be kept in state general public account. And form will be available from distribution committee he added.
Lamenting about the state general public account he said that, from this account even the state government can used for the developmental purposed.
In the meantime the committee also mentioned that on coming November 25 along with the Northeast Students Unions and NE state political parties are going to have a large protest against Inner Liner Permit System and regarding the NE state issues especially corruption.
