IRB man injured in clash with protestors
IMPHAL, September 14: A personnel of the 4th IRB attached with Thoubal Coomando was injured today during a violent clash involving Thoubal cdos and the JAC formed against the death of M Milan.

Police, today had to resort to firing of tear gas shells, rubber bullets to control the JAC supporters.
The injured personnel has been identified as A Chinglen. He was hit on his forehead by a stone.
It may be mentioned that a class VIII student of Keibung Aided High School Maibam Milan was found hanging at the verandah of his school on September 10.
His dead body is presently Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal mortuary.
Meanwhile, sources said that police commandos have been deployed at the area for the past one two days.
Today’s incident was triggered following one of the cdos using crude words which angered the JAC supporters.
Soon after the skirmish between the police and the JAC turned violent, with the JAC supporters burning tyres, throwing stones and using catapults, while the police fired tear gases shells and rubber bullets to control the mob.
Meanwhile, after the initial clash subdued, another round of clash erupted between the two sides at around 10:30am.
