Heavy rains lash in Imphal

Imphal, Sep 11: Due to a heavy rain in Manipur last late night causes a trouble in the Imphal city on Tuesday.

The Imphal River has been also raised only two feet left to reach the danger point said an official from the flood control room.

Most of the Imphal West city areas like Uripok, Sagolband, Keishamthong, Kwakeithel and Takhellambam Leikai were flooded where they have to adjust in there relative house or a friends residence.

Now a day if there is little bit of down pour water started to enter our houses, this all due to the government plan of sewage project which is totally fail said an individual who’s house was flooded up to the knee from Uripok.
