Educational consultative meeting held at Ukhrul

Ukhrul, Sep 13: A consultative meeting on proxy teachers in government schools against the government educational norms and policy was held at Town Hall, Ukhrul on Thursday.

During the consultative meeting, Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), staffs of the education department, representatives of Ukhrul based civil societies NGO’s and intellectuals were participated.

The main objective of the meeting is pertaining of engagement of hire teachers by the genuine teachers appointed by the government.

In the concluding remark, R. Sudhan the Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul district assured the participants of Tangkhul Katamnao Long (TKL), Tangkhul Kamtounao Saklong (TKS), Tangkhul Saktamnao Long (TSL),TWNL and others members.

That all the appointed teachers should respectively reported to there posting school within September 30. Failing to comply the district administration order will amount to strict disciplinary action against the teachers add the deputy commissioner.

The consultative meeting was initiated by the district deputy commissioner.
