CoPTAM's 12hrs bandh hits normal life

Imphal, Sep 13 : A normal life activities of Manipur was totally paralyze due to a 12 hour bandh called by the Committee on Protection of Tribal Area, Manipur (CoPTAM) against the inclusion of several Tribal villages in the Panchayat election on Thursday.

The CoPTAM called the 12 hours bandh against the government for not excluding those 18 villages which are already under the Autonomous District Council.

Due to the bandh Imphal city wore a deserted looks where, none of the business establishment were open and all educational institute were closed down.

Any inter-state or district passenger buses were off the road for the day.
