DCI Officials inspecting infrastructures of RIMS

Imphal June 2: Two prominent doctors, Dr A.K. Adhyapok, principal of Regional Dental College, Guwahati and Dr S. Saha professor and HOD of Public Health Dentristy of Sadar Patel Institute,Lucknow today inspected the manpower, infrastructure, equipments, laboratories, OPD of the dental department of RIMS and other relevant sections. They also inspected the Anatomy, Physiology,biochemistry and hostel facilities with a view to recommending the issuance of permission for starting a BDS course in the Dental College, RIMS.

The inspectors appeared to be satisfied with the existing and upcoming facilitciies. The RIMS authority is ready to comply with suggestions to cope with deficiences in the upcoming facilities.

Apart from making apppointments and purchasing equipments the RIMS authority has done everything to realise the dream of opening the Dental College on the RIMS campus. It is felt in many circles that since there are enough adequate infrastrcutures the Dental college will start admitting students for this year's session. There is already a Dental College Development Committee whose members are leaving no stone unturned to realise this dream.
