Consultative Committee on Minority Affairs Discusses Functioning of National Commission of Minorities
New Delhi, December 20: The 4th Parliamentary Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Minority Affairs(MoMA) discussed functioning of the National Commission of Minorities (NCM) here last evening.
The Meeting was chaired by K Rahman Khan, the Union Minister for Minority Affairs and was attended by the Minister of State, Ninong Ering. Lalit K Panwar, the Secretary, MoMA and other senior officers of the Ministry were also present. The Secretary NCM made a presentation on the Commission.
The Members of Parliament who attended the meeting and participated in the discussions include Charles Dias, Maulana Asrarul Haque, Salim Ansari, Shafiqur Rahman Barq, Ravneet Singh , SK Saidul Haque and Asaduddin Owaisi.
