Steel Minister inaugurates ‘Steel Pavilion’ at IITF’ 2013
New Delhi, November 14: The Union Minister of Steel, Beni Prasad Verma, inaugurated the steel pavilion at IITF, 2013 here today. The Minister of Steel toured the pavilion, and took keen interest in the exhibits put up by the participating companies.
Commending the exhibitors for their efforts at showcasing the usefulness of steel the Minister said, “It is heartening to see various companies showcasing their products and services here in the pavilion. This will no doubt help them to reach out to the common man a¬nd demonstrate the impact of steel on our lives.”
This year’s theme for the pavilion is ‘Inclusive Growth’ which depicts the impact of steel on the society. The concept of Inclusive growth shows the positive impact of growth on various stakeholders and measures taken to ensure simultaneous development. The participants showed off their products and services and their bearing on the lives of the common man.
Also present on the occasion were the Secretary, Ministry of Steel, G. Mohan Kumar and other senior officials from the Ministry and Chief Executives from various steel companies.
