Security meet for Sangai Fest

IMPHAL, November 17: A closed door security meeting will be held on Monday at the CM Secretariat to overview the security process for the upcoming Manipur Sangai Festival. The meeting is scheduled tomorrow and will be presided by DGP, MK Das, representatives of Army and other para-military forces inclusive of CRPF, Assam Rifles, BSF and state home department representatives ranging from ADGP to Superintendent of Police rank.

Sources mentioned that high security arrangement is to be provided for safeguarding the visiting international dignitaries from Myanmar, China and Bangladesh. Other topics of discussion include investigation of the recent bomb attacks carried out in the Imphal area, the source added.
