Father-daughter duo referred to RIMS after conditions deteriorated
IMPHAL, November 19: The condition of the father-daughter duo who were injured in the bomb attack at Harkhui, Ukhrul road yesterday is said to have deteriorated today.
Both Sonia Aind, 7, and her father Pusa, 31, son of (L) Naku of Jharkhand were hospitalized at Ukhrul Distict Hospital on Tuesday following the IED blast.
Pusa who lost her left leg in the blast also suffered from severe lost of blood and had to undergo surgery. She was also under strict watch of doctors at the hospital.
However, after conditions of both Pusa and her father who also sustained splinter injuries deteriorated, they were later referred to RIMS for specialized medical attention.
Meanwhile, following the blast, police have beefed up security at Ukhrul. However, there has been no arrest on the blast till now. The state government is yet to announce ex-gratia to the injured victims.
