CM Ibobi Singh took stock of the ongoing renovation work of Hotel Imphal
Imphal, Nov. 2, 2013 : Chief Minister O. Ibobi Singh visited Hotel Imphal near North AOC this afternoon to take stock of the ongoing renovation works in connection with the coming Sangai Festival.
During the inspection CM advised the concerned Chief Engineers to make arrangements to adequately supply the water and the power to the hotel and also to speed up the renovation works to the MD, Classic Hotel.
O. Ibobi during the visit told the media that in view of the Sangai Festival, 2013 the government had entrusted the work to the Classic Hotel management temporarily and for the matter of conversion into public private partnership model necessary open tendering will be done later.
Ministers of Commerce & Industry Govindas Konthoujam, Works Dr. Kh. Ratankumar, PHED I. Hemochandra, Parliamentary Secretary (Tourism & YAS) M. Prithiviraj, Chief Secretary P.C. Lawmkunga, Principal Secretary Comm.&Ind. O. Nabakishwor, Chief Engineers of Power, PHED and Works,Director MOBC and MD, Classic Hotel Dr. Th. Dhabali and other officials accompanied the visit of the Chief Minister.
