24 hour general strike called
Imphal, November 14: The JAC form against the killing of MPP vice president has called a 24 hour general strike even as fitting tribute was paid to the soulless body of Manisana at MPP office complex here in Imphal on Thursday.
The JAC also dispersed leaflets in and around Imphal where they seek a supports of local clubs, Meira Paibi and to CSO to support in the 24 hour general strike which will start affected from tomorrow (Nov. 15) morning 5am and will concludes at 5am of Nov. 16.
The body of Haobijam Manisana, MPP vice president was claim by the JAC and families members after the postmortem and was brought to the party office complex where hundreds of workers and supporter gather and paid a befitting tribute before heading to his homestead.
Apart from MPP leaders and workers other political parties’ leaders also paid tribute to the departed soul of H. Manisana.
At the same time the JAC also announce the 24 hour general strike as the govt. fail to arrest the culprits with the stipulated time given by the JAC.
