Surmala ends Archery championship opening day on a high

IMPHAL, November 27: Surmala of SAI has ended the first day of the 23rd Senior State Archery championship with four Golds to her name.

The championship is being held at the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex organized by the Manipur Archery Association.

Surmila bagged the yellow metal in the Women’s 70 m (recurve), 60 m (recurve), 50 m (recurve) and 30 m (recurve) events.

In the men’s events, K Manjit of GAC bagged the gold in the 90 m (recurve), N Subhaschandra (ARAC) in 70 m (recurve) and 30 m (recurve) while Y Biswajit (GAC) bagged the yellow metal in the 50 m (reurve).
