What is Dengue?

Dengue is a disease caused by viral infection due to bite of a mosquito called Aedes aegypti infecting our blood with dengue virus.

Who gets affected by the virus & EXACTLY HOW?

Usually healthy humans have strong immune systems. Our immune system, if strong enough, starts killing the virus & usually succedes. People with not so strong immune systems, are the ones which get sick. Once you have dengue virus in your blood, problems are caused by auto-antibodies.
