Ningol Chakkouba Handloom expo begins

IMPHAL, Oct 30: A 15 day long Special Handloom Expo, 2012 was inaugurated this afternoon at the Manipur Handloom & Handicrafts Devt Corporation Ltd, Paona Bazar, Governor Road.

The inaugural function was attended by Assistant Director, Weavers Service Centre, office of the Development COmmissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India Ravinder as the chief guest.

The special expo has been organized considering the Ningol Chakkouba festival.

All stalls in the expo are seperate societies.

Organizers have appealed to all to visit the expo.
