Manipur blind female singer dropped from Sa Re Ga Ma Pa without any reason


Imphal, Oct 13: : Condemning the Zee TV programmer of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa for dropping Takhelambam Mandakini who was among the 15 finalist selected for the Mega event without giving any reason on last 10 October and demanded the Zee programmer to review its decision Saturday.

The brother and the drooped T Mandakini were briefing a news person in a press conference at Bramapur Aribam Leikei here in Imphal.

While speaking to media persons, brother of T. Mandakini disable (eye), Bijish said that "he had never seen such type of competition before in his life, along with her sister they thought that is oneof the biggest and good competition, but when they came through they came to realize that in the competition there is no respected, honour of the persons who participated in Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa".

The disable brother further said, her sister Mandakini starting to compete from the North eastern zone, then from Zonal level competition to enter for the said Mega audition, and in Mega Audition she was selected as the first women participants by handing trophy amongst the various contestants of the country and International zone. On the same day including Mandakini the judges selected another 15 Mega finalists for then final event of the Mega Audition.

He said that the selected 15 topers were kept by giving training and rehearsal at Mumbai and after some days the judges appointed another 9(nine) more participants wjho were already dropped from the list of "in hold" and all together the judges said including 9 and the previous 15, altogether 24 participant will face this Mega event.

And in the last hours, including a disable from Kanada namely Japrit, T Mandakini and some four participants who were earlier selected for Mega event were drop without conducting any performance in fronts of judges he added.

Speaking to media with a tone voice, Mandakini said even though the programmers drop her from attending mega event, she will try through wild cards, and expressed that "I’m definitely acknowledged that I can defeat all the contestants in Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa she added.
