Kesho flown to Imphal

IMPHAL, October 13: Chief of KCP (MTF) Naorem Priyokumar alias Inakhunba alias Keso Meitei, 37, s/o N Ningthemjao Singh of Uchiwa Wangma ,Mayang Imphal PS, Imphal West who was nabbed by the NIA has been brought to Imphal today. Kesho was arrested by NIA on June 11 this year from Hotel Hill Cart, Siliguri and had remained in their custody after being produced in a special court at Gauhati.

He was brought to Imphal today by a police team led by Hopson Sapam, SDPO of Bishnupur Police. The militant has been brought here in connection with a case registered by the Nambol police station regarding a murder case in 2011. Some persons who were arrested in connection with the said crime had disclosed that Keso was involved in the murder and had been confirmed by the police. The IO of the case applied for the transit remand of Keso and brought him to Imphal today.

He was produced before the JMIC first class today and referred for 10 days in police custody.
