Twin blast at Lamlai
IMPHAL, August 20: Two explosions occurred at Nongren Area under Lamlai Police Station today at around 11:27 pm. Locals of the area informed that they heard an explosion and later heard firing of five or six shots and again heard of another explosion. It is suspected that two blasts have occurred in the area. Any reports of casualties could not be retrieved till the filling of this report.
Grenade recovered
A Chinese made hand grenade was found at Ghari Lamkhai along Tiddim Road today morning at around 8 am today. The bomb was recovered by the police bomb squad and safely disposed at a garbage dump in the vicinity.
