Center to send a team of Senior Officials to Assam
New Delhi, August 20: A team of senior officials from the center will visit Assam to assist the State in rehabilitation process and assess further requirements for the same.
The officials will visit relief camps in the state from 21st to 23rd of this month. The team comprises two Joint Secretaries from the Ministry of Home and one each from the Ministries of Drinking Water , Health, Rural Development, Food and Planning Commission.
